J. Miakoda Taylor (they/them/we/us) is a dynamic and visionary leader with over 25 years of experience in leadership and organizational development. From 2006 - 2024, Miakoda served as the founder and lead steward of Fierce Allies, training facilitators and supporting individuals, teams, organizations, and coalitions to build trust and accountability across seemingly insurmountable divides.
Miakoda has distilled and amplified their two decades of experience in Transformative Justice, emotional-social intelligence, somatic and ancestral trauma healing, eco-pedagogy, power analysis, and experiential & Popular Education into a new body of work called Get Free (read more about Miakoda’s transition from Fierce Allies to Get Free here).
Through interim leadership, coaching, workshop, consulting, and training, Miakoda is supporting teams and individuals to work in greater alignment with their values, engage in radical collaboration, and lead liberated lives.
